Chris Roberts formed KICKPHOTO in 1992 after years of journalistic experience when, due to popular demand, images were made available to the general public. Links remain with sports journalists and we regularly supply pictures to national sports press, governing bodies, schools and universities.

Our team of freelance professional photographers are all approved & Certified Cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau for working with children. 

Chris Roberts has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. He is a  ‘rugby man’ and in the past has been:

Ball boy – Wasps FC for many years from the age of 7.
Player – Mini rugby (the season it started!) & later at Licensed Victuallers’ School, Wasps FC, Drifters RFC, Slough Vets & more other clubs than he can remember!
Supporter – ‘Once a Wasps always a Wasp’; went to the first World Cup in New Zealand in 1987.
Writer – Rugby News; Windsor & Slough Express, The Buzz.
Photographer – Rugby World, Rugby News, Wales Sport Cymru & most national news titles.
Administrator – Press Officer of Buckinghamshire RFU.
